Why choosing Biology?

When I have graduated from the secondary school. and it comes to choose my major at the university, I was so interested to enter the medical world. I liked to be a gynecologist or a dermatologist. So when I asked about those two majors, they told me that they are not available in the Bekaa region, I have to go to Beirut or travel out of Lebanon. I found it too hard to leave my area and my parents, to have new friends, to engage a new world, and to spent about 10 years in studying one major. Moreover, my parents rejected the idea at all and the transportations were not insured. So I was forced to choose from the majors available in my region and especially because I decided not to stop learning and to have my own lifestyle and a good job later. I found that biology is most closely resembles those majors because its entirely related to body facts and function. In the secondary school I was a life science student, I liked biology so much and I got good grades in this subject. This motivates me more to register biology so that I will be successful in that major. In addition, I thought when I graduated later and become a biologists, my job will be a teacher that is a very nice and easy job for a girl. I registered at the Lebanese international university because it contains this major, it is near to my village, and it has an organized system. Now I have graduated, and my experience was very nice. I have learned so many useful information in a variety of courses that were so engaged and interested.
